Located in the village of Banko Gotiti, in the Gedeb district, the Gotiti Washing Station is a facility exclusively managed by Ephtah Speciality Coffee, where coffee cherries produced by the region's smallholder farmers are received. The site has 150 African drying beds and is located in one of the highest areas of Yirgacheffe.
The coffee comes from local producers who grow traditional varieties in the shade of native trees. During the harvest, the station brings together a small permanent team with seasonal workers to handle the increased activity typical of the harvest season. Processing is carried out entirely under Ephtah's supervision, with the aim of maintaining constant control over the quality of the lot from the reception of the cherries to its preparation for export.
