Brazil

The Cerrado Mineiro region, located in the state of Minas Gerais, is one of the most important coffee-growing areas in Brazil and the first to receive the Designation of Origin certification for coffee in the country. Its average altitude of 900 to 1,300 meters above sea level, along with its tropical climate with a well-defined dry season and fertile red soils, creates ideal conditions for the production of high-quality coffee.
The region stands out for the consistency in its cup profiles, with balanced acidity, medium body, and sweet and fruity notes. The coffees from the Cerrado Mineiro region come mainly from medium and large farms, where mechanized techniques and sustainable management practices are combined, guaranteeing uniformity, traceability, and standards of excellence recognized nationally and internationally.
