The GROSCHE Milano Collection

The GROSCHE MILANO model is a classic Italian espresso coffee machine (Moka). The MILANO model is the only moka coffee maker that has a burn guard on the handle to protect your fingers from touching the hot surface of the pot. In addition, it also has a " Made in Italy " certified safety valve .

Top sellers of the Moka Pot collection in North America

The MILANO by GROSCHE is a classic Italian espresso coffee machine, also called moka pot . It's one of the best selling and best moka pot collections in North America , with over 14,000 reviews and a 4.5/5 star rating!

The MILANO moka pot is made of food-safe aluminum, a non-toxic silicone sealing seal. It can be used on all gas and electric cookers, but is not suitable for induction cookers . In addition, it also has a " Made in Italy " certified safety valve that prevents the internal pressure from increasing to a dangerous point.

Perfect for anyone who enjoys the taste of a strong or double shot of espresso. Compared to filter coffee makers and drip coffee makers, this brewing method extracts more caffeine and flavor. This gives espresso coffee a stronger and richer drink than a percolator. The MILANO espresso coffee machine will make your espresso coffee experience perfect every time .

How to make espresso coffee on the stove

  1. First remove the top and filter funnel from the coffee maker. Fill the lower chamber with fresh cold (and Filtered) water up to the safety valve. Make sure not to fill beyond the safety valve;
  2. Then fill the filter funnel with fresh, fine espresso grounds. Once this is done, place the filter funnel back into the lower chamber of the MILANO and screw the upper part well;
  3. Then place the MILANO on your stove, in a low/medium flame environment. Turn off the stove when the coffee bubbles upwards from the filter funnel and into the upper section. When the sound stops, this indicates that the coffee is ready;
  4. Finally, remove the MILANO from your stove and serve. You can drink the coffee as a strong and tasty espresso or use it as a base for a cappuccino or coffee with milk .

How to care for your Moka Pot

They say the older these pots are, the better they work. They can last a lifetime with proper care. Always wash them by hand , and never put them in the dishwasher. MILANO is not dishwasher safe . In a dishwasher, aluminum will stain and turn black, ruining your Moka pot. Every 3-6 months or so, you should consider changing the silicone seal that is on the pots and the one that holds the pressure in the boiler section to make the finely ground coffee.
